-Italy is so hot! Dh la ramai gler org...ktorg g Piazza San Marco...tgk Basilica di San Marco, a church dkt Piazza San Marco tu...ad gk tgkp gmbr Campanile...a tower that used to be a lighthouse..Campanile ni sbnrnye dh direbuilt...yg lama dh destroyed...

Day 8 - Venice-Florence-Rome

-Today we're going to Rome but we'll stop by kat Florence b4 teruskn prjlnn ke campsite di Rome...dr Fusina campsite ke Florence amik ms 3 jam....

-Singgah kt Piazza Michaelangelo...tgkp gmbr Statue of David n pmndgn kt Florence...nmpk Duomo n Ponte Vecchio...

-Pstu kitorg berjalan untuk ke bndr Florence (Firenze)...kt Florence ni bas xboleh masuk, kne parking kt luar bandar Florence. Kalo nk msk bandar Florence, either kne menapak or amik taxi. Kitorg menapak..jauh gler kot jln nk msk florence...lalu Uffizzi, Ponte Vecchio...Duomo xjumpe...hehe..

Ponte Vecchio ni dulu tmpt jual daging. Tp, lepas keluarga diraja bina Istana dekat2 dgn bridge ni diorang xbagi jual daging dh. So, jambatan ni skrg jual barang kemas...xsilap Ponte Vecchio ni in English 'the Golden Bridge'

-Shopping kt Florence...ad byk leather goods...pstu beli fridge magnet (as usual)...hehe..

-Mkn Gelato lagi! :p Limone (Lime) flavour...sedap la...

Day 9 - Rome

-Harini jln2 kt bdr Roma...nek tren buruk dr stesen Prima Porta smpi stesen Flaminio...pstu nek subway...1st destination...Vatican City...

One whole day ticket. 4 euro. With this tic boleh naik any public transport in Rome.

And this is Vatican City, the smallest State in the world.

-Pegi St. Peter square...beratur utk msk St. Peter Basilica...pjg giler barisan...dh la mat saleh giler suke potong barisan...cuaca pulak panas giler xde awan...:( 

-Kamera buat hal...yyg kata die sedey...trpksalah gune kamera abah yg cume 3.2 mp tu...aigoo...

-Pergi tgkp gmbr kt Castel d Santangelo b4 nek bas g Termini utk lunch..

European Escapade II

Day 4 - Amsterdam-Frankfurt

-We are going to Germany! Hehe..perjlnn ke Germany mengambil masa yg agak lama iaitu 7 hours...kitorg bertolak dari campsite kul 9.00 pg...
-Lalu Autobahn! *for those who don't know, Autobahn is a highway in Germany, a very lurus highway...* Hehe...dh lame dh dgr citer psl Autobahn ni kt Discovery Channel...kt Autobahn ni xde speed limit utk line sblh kiri...cuma ad min speed...kt selekoh2 berbahaya sllnye ad la speed limit...tp otherwise stated, kt Autobahn ni xde speed limit...sbb keta sport cm Porsche jenama Germany...Autobahn ni tmpt utk test drive keta2 mahal ni la kot...tp kalo ad accident, nauzubillah!
-G mlwt bndr Frankfurt...tgkp gmbr kt Eurosign...hehe..

Apparently pemandangan ni byk dijadikan lukisan sold by painters kt area ni so I guess this is one of the most beautiful view kt Mein River ni la kot..

-Beli poskad gmbr monyet n bear kt Bear Paradies... :D

Anyone who knows anything about me will know that I buy the postcard not because of the teddy...:p

 
-Cuaca kt Germany panas..bahang cm kt Msia...mlm ni campsite kt tepi tasik...hehe...

Kt tanah terbentang luas ni la kitorg pacak khemah kt Germany. Tanah die agak keras, jarang dibasahi hujan agaknye. Btw, kt sini xde cabin...sume org kena berkhemah...

Just pardon the untidiness of our tents and see that khemah kitorg mmg betul2 tepi tasik yg dlm gmbr kt atas tu...:)

-Berita xbest...Coach 2 rosak *our trip consist of 140++ people so we travelled around in 2 double decker buses*...so esk dijangka akan bertolak a bit late...
-Campsite kt Frankfurt ni best! Air panas free cme xbyk shower stall...It was very clean too...

Day 5 - Frankfurt-Fussen-Innsbruck

-Bertolak dr Campsite dlm kul 10.45...nasib baik just hose hydraulic yg rosak...so cpt la Coach 2 dibaiki...
-G mlwt Fussen...nk g tgk Neuchwanstein Castle...dibina oleh a crazy king, Kinog Ludwig (King Ludwig)...
-Nasib xbaik...by d time ktorg smpi hujan turun...so ktorg sume dibasahi hujan...naik bas naik ke Neuschwanstein Castle...*ada 3 choices utk naik ke Neuschwanstein Castle...by foot, by bus or by kereta kuda...the cheaper and more suitable mode of transportation in a raining weather is definitely bus...kalo nk romantik leh la kot naik kereta kuda...:p*

-Tgkp gmbr kt Marienbrucke, a bridge which is higher in altitude compared to the Neuschwanstein Castle...from there we hv the bird's eye view of the whole castle... 

 

Us at Marienbrucke. See all the umbrellas? Don't be deceived by the seemingly fine pic of the castle. Actually, it wasn't that pretty a view at that time. It was cloudy...but thanks to editing...:p

-Truskan perjalann g Hamming campsite kt Innsbruck, Austria...bile ktorg smpi campsite, it was raining cats and dogs! Ktorg cpt2 pasang khemah *by this time dh expert pasang khemah dh...:p* tp ad gk air msk khemah...basah jugak la dlm khemah tu...mlm sgt sejuk! We need to snuggle together to keep warm...more ppl in one tent is better...we can 'sharing is caring' our body heat..hehe...
-Cni toilet die xbest sgt...busuk..kne byr lak tu...n some of the sink bowls are in a form of toilet bowl! Xtau la sape yg 'terlampau' kreatif buat sink bowl dr toilet bowl...gross!
-D whole nite ujan...so mmg sejuk gler la..
-Campsite ktorg kali ni dkt tepi bukit...so wpun sejuk giler, at least pmndgn die cntk la...hehe..

Day 6 - Innsbruck-Venice

-Arini bertolak dr Campsite pegi ke bndr Innsbruck...jln2 kt ctu...tgkp gmbr kt tepi sungai...cntk! Tp xsure nama...nk kne check...hehe..

The beautiful river which I don't know what its name...this is what happen when you sleep while En. Hairul gave explanation on the places we are going to visit...:p

-Beli souvenir kt byk2 stall yg ad kt ctu...n pstu g naik bukit...nk tgk ski jump ramp built for Winter Olympic..nama die Ski Austria Bergisel...leh nmpk seluruh bndr Innsbruck dr atas tu...cntk! 

 

According to En. Hairul, nama Bergisel ni diberi oleh org Malaysia. Not sure about the truthness of the info, but IMHO Bergisel sounded so wrong! *in a perverted way, of course...* Cube la bg nama yg less controversial skit...

Mkn nasi goreng with sos cilii kowt..hehe..*I know nasi goreng with sos cili is a common food, but eating it in Innsbruck, Austria makes it 100x more delicious...:p*
-Pas lunch, bertolak ke Venice (Venetia), Italy...mlm ni tdo cabin! Hehe..kem ktorg kali ni dkt dgn laut...so mlm2 leh dgr bunyi hon kapal...

-Bertolak dr KLIA pukul 11.40 mlm...MH002...seat 55J n K...seat kitog sblh mamat African American! Haha...ngeri jugak...tp slmt akhirnya...smpi Heathrow pukul 5.50 pg...smooth landing! Hehe...minah2 salleh kt blkg puji MH...bangga jap jd rakyat Msia...haha...sewa van g hotel...

-Jln2 smntara nk tggu nk check-in...jalan2 kt Oxford Street...shopping kt Primark sbb abah xbwk jaket...murah la..sblm tu breakfast kt subway...boleh la sbb lapar...:p
-Naik tube dr bond st g Charing Cross sbb abah kt kat Trafalgar Square ad burung merpati...ad tp xbyk pn! Hehe...tgkp gmbr kt Trafalgar Square kt dpn National Museum...
-Nk blk konon2 nk naik bas jln la all d way to Big Ben...nmpk la Eye on London..Westminster Abbey...hehe..tp last2 naik tube jugak sbb xjmpe bas nk blk Marble Arch...amik tube dr Westminster g Marble Arch n check-in...

Hehe...tgk 4D Marvel Heroes...ad satu part tu cm labah2 msk tmpt tygn ktorg...rs geli2 kt kaki...hehe..blk bilik, makan Maggi...pstu tido! Hehe..

Day 2 - London-Amsterdam

-Kuar hotel dlm 6.15 pg...excited nk cr Speaker's Corner Park Lane kt Hyde Park...haha...smpi2 dh ad org...tp lame gk la menunggu kesejukan b4 bas smpi...bas nk dkt kul 8 br smpi...
-Breakfast mkn roti chinois and brioche rolls...:) breakfast dlm bas...
-Bas msk dlm tren utk g France! Hehe..lalu Eurotunnel lalu English Channel...35 min je akn trs smpi kt France...

Bas kitorg yg double-decker tu actually muat masuk dlm train ni! Kagum kejap...:p

-Smpi kt Calais, France...5 hours journey ke Amsterdam...lunch tuna sandwich je...hehe..ad sesi memperkenalkan diri la pulak...aigoo...
-Dlm kul 3 lebey smpi kt PJ Belgian Chocolate Factory...beli Belgian choc! Hehe..rs die sdp...coklat mahal la katakan...hehe..
-Trskn prjlnn g Amsterdam...smpi kt kem dlm kul 7 lebey...1st time psg khemah...ssh gle! Nasib baik ad bdk2 lelaki student Canada khemah sblh tlg psgkn...
-khemah sejuk gler...wpun tdo dlm sleeping bag...tp sbb ngantuk tdo jugak la...

Khemah kami yg amat susah utk dipasang bg first-timer yg xpnh pgg spike spjg 23 thn hidup ni...

P/s: unless korg sgt2 pndi psg khemah...silalah tmbh skit n tdo dlm kabin...it is so much better...panas, selesa...hehe..

Day 3 - Volendam & Amsterdam

-Bertolak dari campsite kul 10.11 pg. We stopped at a cheese and clogs factory and spend some time, shopping and taking pictures. Right then, on our way to Volendam, the bus stopped for 10 minutes, giving us time to capture the view of a biggg windmill. We took pics...d pride of Holland...hehe..

 

-Next destination, Vollendam Fishing Village...makan! Hehe..mkn byk gler shrimp, ikan...lala...shopping giler2 kt cni, esp utk kwn2 sbb murah...
-Pstu g Centrum Amsterdam...naik canal cruise...boring...jln2 kt ctu..tgk Red Light District...gler ar...sume kedai psl sex je...dh la bau semacam...which I suspect is the smell of drugs...sbb rs xselesa jln kt Red Light District tu we left the district...n jln kt 'Green' Light District...Centrum Amsterdam xbest! Busuk bau urine...dgn org ramai...basikal pn byk...

Did u see the traffic light with the symbol of bicycle in green? In Amsterdam, bicycle hv their own lane just like cars and if a cyclist hit u when u are crossing the bicycle lane, u can be sued for tort as it is the bicycle's right of way
